A contemporary aesthetic
With the work Hope (staff #104, 286cm) I want to express my desire for a biodiverse environment. My desire for a future full of poetry. No more monoculture anywhere not even in this courtyard of Galway University’s administration building. (The University of Galway’s website states that the university ranks first in Ireland in the field of sustainable development)
A contemporary aesthetic, based on the urgent need for biodiversity, should be the new norm. My hope is that people will quickly get used to this “new trend” and come to appreciate it.
